  Through deconstructing archaeo-metallurgical laboratory activities, it shows that lab-claimed things are born from mathematization and disciplines. This reveals that things are locked in a self-evidential and thus circular logic of existence, and empirical evidence loses meaning. In concern of academic debates on the existence of things, the phenomenon is reflected through the Ontological Turn in STS. That is, rather than a metaphysical perspective, it adopts a view anchored on laboratory practices. Things gradually come into being through practice
